For the longest time I have been wanting to start a blog so I could talk about things that are important to me, and mention things that I think are worth discussing, except... I happen to be the most boring and uninteresting person to ever exist.
So I decided to stick to something that I know: Movies.
I love movies, and like most people, I hate when movies are bad. And yet, there is something oddly satisfying about ripping apart a movie that sucks major ass. Ranting with my friends about bad movies is a hobby that I enjoy and so I thought I would share it with the internet; because we all know how much the internet loves to hate things.
This blog is just something I'm doing for fun, and so I will only be criticizing movies that I genuinely wanted to see, and that I thought looked interesting. I will not be watching any horror movies though, because I happen to be a HUGE chicken.
Hopefully I can write about some good movies that I love, too, because I don't just want to constantly be shitting on movies all the time; that's no fun.
My grading scale is traditional- but with a slight twist. See below:
S: Masterpiece (π¨πΎπ³π€πΎπ)
A: “Practically perfect in every way”
B: Mostly a fun time
C: Could use a rewrite
D: I sat through it and was mad about it
E: Eh. It’s ironically bad; you may get a laugh or two.
F: Fire! Throw it in the fire! Burn your TV and buy a new one because there is no recovering from this.
Keep in mind that my grades are completely subjective, and my opinion may be completely different than your opinion and even the popular opinion about the movie. I can't help but have my own problems with films, and so I'm going to be honest about what I really think, so long as everyone is respectful. I am also entitled to change my rating system at any point and add +/- whenever I want. Also, the lettering/grading system may be subject to change at will.
With that in mind, I will formally welcome everyone to my new blog, entitled "Reviews that No One Asked For."
